Cast away

I was on a conference call earlier today when Adelaide called. Didn’t have long to chat, but she did manage to tell me that her cast comes off the day before she starts school. I think she’s pretty happy about that, and it’s a clear indication that the orthopedic surgeon is happy with the outcome of the operation.

The Surgeon said that Adelaide’s affected bone is so straight that he could rest a ruler on it
(Post today’s X-Ray.) He did a marvellous job and he has a very nice manner with children.
