The Kid went to a Halloween Party today. She wasn’t feeling the best, but she’s been looking forward to this party for a few weeks now, so she went along and did her best to enjoy herself.

Lisa went to the salvo’s last week and got a few bits and pieces to make a fabulous scarecrow costume. Aunty Diane came over before the party and did a great job painting her face. She really looked the part.

I didn’t go the party (stayed home with The Baby) but Lisa and The Kid had a wonderful time. Cathy and Shaun (the host parents) did a wonderful job for all the kids; lots of activities and Halloween things to do.

I took this shot at the Post Office yesterday. It’s the soldier on the ANZAC memorial.

The sky was obviously not even close to this color; I went a little crazy with the hue and saturation sliders in LightRoom and I love the result.

The purple really suits the theme.
