New Year’s Resolutions

January 1, 2009 Andrew Lighten
  1. Manage my time better. Last year was marked by too much work and not enough family. Need to find more time to play with the kids and talk to my wife.
  2. Take more photos. Work seriously got in the way of photography in the second half of last year. I’m going to take up the 2009 Photo Challenge as a lever. We’ll see how long I last.
  3. After today (1st of January, 2009) no more chocolate or chips. Time to lose a little weight. I’m not going to do the full Frankston Councillor detox, but I have to stop eating some of the junk I stuff down my gob. I could start this as of midnight last night, but we’ve got a bunch of stuff left in the cupboard and it sure would be a shame to see that go to waste.
  4. Learn at least one new skill that’s totally unrelated to anything I know at the moment. No idea what this will be. Suggestions welcome.
  5. Be more Machiavellian.
  6. Stop waffling on about crap on my blog.

Way to go, Andrew! We’re excited to have you join us on the 2009 Challenge.

I think you’ll make it much farther than you think.
